Test Drive New GoWEB Features

EDIT: THESE FEATURES ARE NOW LIVE ON THE PUBLIC HOMEPAGE BUT THE BETA PAGES WILL CONTINUE TO BE UPDATED.

Today, we are pleased to announce changes to the BETA CHANNEL of GoWEB. The beta channel is where you can see and test drive new features that are headed for the real homepage and other parts of the site. Not everything that appears on the beta channel makes it to the public homepage but the changes we are about to showcase  are definitely headed for the public homepage.

As you can see, we’ve placed our focus heavily on reducing clutter on your homepage. Showing less upfront.

Our other major focus in this upgrade is to minimize the amount of pages a user has to go through to get certain things done. We’ve implimented a number of “realtime” initiatives which allow our users to apply settings, get additional information or install software without leaving the homepage. We’ve done this by loading certain modules directly within the homepage content, instead of taking you to another page. Below are some examples.

As said above, these features are headed for the public homepage but in the meantime, feel free to TEST DRIVE THESE FEATURES ON THE BETA CHANNEL. While you’re there, check out the beta version of the Kidz page too.
